Chicago rapper Lil Durk faces some pretty serious charges stemming from a recent shooting in Atlanta according to WSB-TV. The news station reports that the rapper went to court today for a probable cause hearing that very quickly turned against him as Atlanta Police Department produced a witness that not only placed him at the scene of the crime, but also heard gunshots and saw the victim in a pool of blood. The police also say they have video showing the shooting.
Lil Durk doesn't see any reason why he should be rotting in a jail cell while awaiting trial for his alleged role in a shooting ... and he's promising not to run from the long arm of the law if he's freed.
A state judge Friday ordered Baton Rouge rapper NBA Youngboy held behind bars until at least June 21 while authorities probe whether a man seen in a social media video making violent threats is — as the judge strongly suspects — the same rapper she put on probation in 2017.
NBA YoungBoy has been playing with fire on social media, and now -- in the wake of his Miami shooting incident -- he got burned, because cops arrested him for violating his probation. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the rapper was taken into custody immediately following a hearing in East Baton Rouge Friday, and he'll be detained for at least 30 days.
