The star founded the Ludacris Foundation in 2001 and since then, the organization has served youths and families in underprivileged communities. According to its website, it operates in Atlanta and provides support in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and Washington DC.

The charity's initiatives includes leadership programs, education programs, community events, holiday gifts through Ludachristmas, and lifestyle programs to encourage good habits for wellness and health.
