Upcoming Atlanta artists, FASHION The rapper, shared an inspiring story from his childhood that set him on the path of becoming a rapper. The life changing event happened when he was just a young boy attending his local Boy's and Girl's Club.

One day, the director of the club took everyone to see a Monique Show live. During that live, Monique asked if anyone in the audience could rap. With extreme joy an excitement, the boys and girls began to point and look at Marquis Jaquavious Cain, aka New FASHION The Rapper, in hopes that he would get picked.

FASHION had already learned how to write lyrics and would battle rap in the cafeteria in sixth grade, so naturally he was picked. However, the intense moment didn't come with out nerves and a pumping heart. Despite the feelings, FASHION got on stage and rapped in front of the whole crowd.

Everyone was shocked and amazed at his level of talent and skill. From then on, the Atlanta based rapper, FASHION knew he wanted to become a rapper and pursue his music career.
