Delay In Tory Lanez Arrest Causes Great Concern For Megan

Megan Thee Stallion and her camp are concerned over the lack of haste in the arrest of Tory Lanez. It has been 2 months since the incident where Tory Lanez allegedly shot Megan in the foot outside of Kylie Jenner’s house. Sources tell PageSix,
“This case is open and shut and I’m very concerned that we’re still lingering here, It’s not being treated with the same level of resources and focus as if it was a white college student.” - PageSix Insider

According to PageSix, Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office has been given all of the evidence including, text messages, 911 call, video, medical records and witness statements. However, the speed at which this case is being handled is causing great concern to Meg and her camp.

The insider also mentioned to PageSix that the medical reports stated she suffered “gunshot wounds” on the night of the shooting. But despite the intensity of the situation we found out that Megan was not initially going to report the incident nor contact police. The insider told PageSix,

“Megan wasn’t going to name names, she wasn’t going to go there — she wasn’t planning on talking to police, She was protecting herself. People in her camp and in Tory’s camp shut everyone down so fast you could barely blink. But there were lies that were being spread and she wasn’t going to stand for it.”

That’s when Megan went to Instagram airing out the alleged lies and miss reporting by media outlets saying,

“Yes, this n***a Tory shot me, you shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lyin’ and s–t. Stop lyin’. Why lie?” -Meg Thee Stallion

As of Thursday, Tory Lanez has only been charged with possession of a gun after being pulled over in the SUV. LAPD spokesperson told PageSix there were no updates on the case stating,

“We are awaiting the results of the full investigation, including lab analysis of physical evidence,” Officer Ricardo Santiago added. “As prosecutors, we are ethically and legally required to review all of the evidence in a case before deciding whether or not to file criminal charges. Race is never a consideration.” -LAPD Spokesperson

A rep from Tory’s camp has yet to comment on the matter.
